2015 National Bike Challenge Recap

The 2015 National Bike Challenge is finished, and Allen County once again ranked as the best in Kansas, and one of the top local challenges in the nation:

Our Bike Allen County local challenge was ranked #6 in the country, racking up 28,664 miles, with 113 participants:

Congrats to Randy Rasa and Elizabeth Cox, who rode every day during the challenge! Statewide, Randy ranked #8 among all riders, and Elizabeth ranked #4 among women.

Iola was ranked as the #5 city in the state of Kansas, trailing only Wichita, Topeka, Lawrence, and Great Bend. Humboldt ended the challenge at #11. 84 Iola riders pedaled 18,888 miles, while 25 Humboldt riders logged 7,886 miles, with 1 La Harpe rider totaling 1,890 miles.
