This is a quick low-traffic paved route east of Iola, perfect for a regular training loop.
The ride starts at Meadowbrook Park and rolls north on Cottonwood, east on Miller, north on Kentucky, east on Oregon Road, crosses US-169 Highway (watch for traffic), north on 2200th Street, then west on Nebraska and into Iola, using city streets back to Meadowbrook Park.
There is parking and water at Meadowbrook Park, and a Casey’s Convenience Store just off the route at US-54 and First Street. Also just off the route is a Daylight Donuts of you want to make this a true Baker’s Dozen ride.
The route can be ridden clockwise (as shown) or counterclockwise.
