The Geneva Cemetery Tour is an out-and-back ride that begins and ends at Riverside Park in Iola.

The route heads north on State Street, then west on Texas Road, and north on 600th to Geneva Cemetery, and back. At the Geneva Cemetery, which is about all that remains of the ghost town of Geneva, check out the interesting headstones of John and Elizabeth Rhees, and of Winfred, Minnie, and Pearl Spencer.

This route is all paved except for the final half mile, from Utah Road to theĀ Geneva Cemetery, which is gravel.

Alternate Route: If you prefer not to ride on State Street (Old 169 Highway), take the Prairie Spirit Trail north to Carlyle (Texas Road). This adds about 2 miles to the route.
