Visit the place once known as “Harveyville” — not quite a town, but once a corner store.
This loop, which can be ridden clockwise or counter-clockwise, starts at Cannon Park in Humboldt, heads east on Georgia Road past the Humboldt Speedway, jogs north to Hawaii Road, then south on 3000th Street to Delaware Road, where the ruins of the corner store still sit. Ride back west on Delaware Road (also known as “Tank Farm Road”), past the former Zillah Rural School, past the huge pumping stations and oil tanks, past the Monarch Cement Company, past George A. Sweatt Park, dedicated to the memory of Negro League Baseball legend George Sweatt, and back through town to Cannon Park.
