The Centennial Trail is a short (0.25 miles) paved asphalt trail in Humboldt, Kansas. The trail is located on the south side of town, and connects George Sweatt Park in the east with Centennial Park in the west.
George Sweatt Memorial Park features baseball diamonds, a picnic shelter, water, and restrooms (seasonal).
Centennial Park features the Humboldt Swimming Pool, a small playground, an Exercise Circuit with fitness machines and exercise stations, and free public Wi-Fi.
The trail crosses old 169 Highway (South 9th Street) via a marked and signed crossing (watch for traffic).
The Centennial Trail was built in 2009, and the wellness exercise circuit was added in 2010, funded by a grant from the Kansas Health Foundation. The circuit includes nine different types of outdoor exercise equipment good for all ages and abilities.
